Alineo Clinical Summaries

The Alineo Clinical Summary is a clinically validated, payer-based electronic health record. It works within the overall Alineo framework to compile a member's current and historical medical data from physicians, labs, pharmacies, clinics and other sources. This information is augmented with evidence-based medicine standards to create care plans and highlight treatment opportunities. It is then delivered to users as an Adobe® PDF report through MEDecision's Nexalign iEXCHANGE product, or as a secure Web service for integration with provider-based technologies, portals and member-facing systems.

With the Alineo Clinical Summary, users have at their fingertips a summarized overview of an individual's medical history, including: a medication list, conditions list, admissions history, an emergency room visit history and a list of recently-received services. MEDecision believes that the existence of this information can help reduce duplicative testing, facilitate more appropriate medication therapies, reduce admissions and lower costs. Most importantly, the Alineo Clinical Summary enables users to make critical decisions based on more complete and consistent patient information.

Alineo Clinical Summaries benefit healthcare stakeholders in various ways:

For Payers:

  • Improves provider relations
  • Increases efficiency
  • Streamlines care management

For Patients:

  • Enriches interaction with physicians
  • Improves outcomes
  • Promotes greater engagement in care process

For Providers:

  • Improves relationships with patients and payers
  • Optimizes administrative efficiencies
  • Facilitates more focused care delivery
